Privacy Policy

Taco Map is a read-only public atlas of tacos. This page explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how you can remove your contributions.

What we collect

• Tacos you submit via @Taco_Map_bot on Telegram: your photo, the description you write, and any location detail you choose to share.
• Public social post references (X, Instagram) that you publish.
• Aggregate, anonymous traffic metrics for the website itself.

What we publish

• Only tacos you mark public, and only at the precision you allow — city or ZIP by default, never exact coordinates unless you specifically approve them.
• We store references to your social posts, not copies of your images. The canonical image stays on the platform you posted to.

What we do not do

• We do not sell your data.
• We do not use your submissions to train third-party models outside the Taco Map pipeline.
• We do not publish exact home addresses.
